This entry box allows you to view/change the name assigned to this player.

This numeric entry box allows you to declare a maximum # of hands for this player to play.

This feature allows you to specify the initial 2-cards the player will receive.
This allows you to test-run various strategy scenarious.
Note: Currently, Boris does not actually "debit" those two cards from those available in the deck/shoe.
This may be easily resolveable in Version 4.44a/b.

This is a dropdown list allowing you to select/alter the betting strategy used at this seat.
In Version 4.44 PRO+ Users will find Betting Strategy #2 & #3 enabled; allowing you to run comparison "what-if" simulations, comparing multiple-betting strategies for a single play of the cards.

This is a dropdown list allowing you to declare the card-play strategy in use at this seat;
such as Basic Strategy, or one of the available card-count strategies.

Table Selection/Departure is a new idea under evaluation for future inclusion in Boris.
Stay tuned for the details on this one.

Bankroll is the TOTAL amount of money a player will begin with.
Just because a player is allocated a given bankroll is no guarantee it will actually be used.
When a buyin is made, it is debited from the Bankroll.

Players tend to buy chips in incremental-amounts, known as a "buyin".
When a player exhausts money on the table, Boris will instruct that player to buyin for more chips.

System players tend to bet in consistent increments, known as a unit-size, making $-Stats evaluation easier.
For example, with a $25 unit-size, a 2-unit bet would be $50, while a 5-unit bet would be $125, etc.

This is the $-Amount the player uses to end a playing session on a win.

This is the $-Amount the player uses to end a playing session on a loss.

This is the number of units which must be won before increasing the unit-size.

When checked, this box enables the three option buttons allowing you to override the betting strategy (if allowed).
A "Timid" bettor makes minimum bets, regardless of what the strategy dictates.
An "Average" bettor bets according to the betting strategy.
An "Agressive" bettor bets considerably more than is normally called for.

This data entry box allows you to specify the maximum # of units a player may bet.
In-effect, this creates a wager-amount "ceiling".

This dropdown list allows you to specify a strategy for evaluating the game.
This strategy may be different from the Playing Strategy.
This strategy will be used when the [ADVICE] Button is pressed.
It will also affect the data displayed on the Strategy Data-Panel (which pops up over the chip tray).

Clicking the Up/Down arrows of this toggle-box allow you to simulate card-counting errors and their affects.
If you set this value down to, say, 85%, you are in-effect creating a 15% card-counting error-rate.
The default value is 100%.

Because some card-counts don't always begin at Zero (0),
this toggle-box allows you to specify a value other than 0.
This is useful for some of the "newer" unbalanced card-counts.

This dropdown list allows you to change the interpretation of the Strategy Table Entries (STEs), for use in creating interesting strategy variations. Card-counting strategies tend to use the Running-count or True-count for table indexing.

This feature will be enabled in a future release of Boris' PRO+ Edition

This feature (currently under BetaTest Evaluation) will be made available to PRO+ Users in a future 4.44 Release.

Checking this Box instructs Boris to reset streak-data at the end of the shuffle.
To keep this data between shuffles, leave this box unchecked.

With this box checked, the count-value(s) associated with the Evaluation Strategy
will display on the Strategy Data-Panel (which pops up over the chip tray).

With this box checked, the player is "locked" to the table (not allowed to leave), regardless of the setting of the "Casino Mode" checkbox on the Playing Options Screen.
Locking players is useful for running million-round Blackjack simulations.

This allows you to declare a player to play multiple seat-positions before the play begins.
You can also spread to multiple hands during live-play.

This is a new feature under evaluation for Boris PRO+ Users.

Clicking on on of the Seat-Tabs (or holding down the Alt Key and pressing the seat-number) switches you to a different table seat.
You can also select a seat by pressing it's corresponding F-Key.
F1 = Seat #1, F4 = Seat #4, etc.
